A film is or should be more like music than like fiction. It should be a progression of moods and feelings. The theme, what's behind the emotion, the meaning, all that comes later. Stanley Kubrick

Jane Eyre
Jane Eyre is a worthy Adaptation of Charlotte Bronte's Classic Novel and is brought to life with a great cast.
The performances in this film were amazing, and of course we are graced with Judy Dench's presence in another roll that she masters, not to mention Mia Wasikowska who portrays Jane in a brilliant way.
The Love Story between the two main characters Jane and Edward Rochester is phenomenal! The Chemistry between the two is amazing.
Now days Hollywood believes that in order to have a movie be Romantic it has to contain sex scenes and nudity, well Jane Eyre was able to portray a great love story without either of those topics and I must say it was really refreshing to see a romance that didn't rely on sexuality but was still so full of enough passion to make you feel for the two main characters.
I really enjoyed this film, it may not be for everyone but if your looking for a great date movie then I say give this one a chance.

The Help
It may be a bit early for Oscar votes, but I am putting mine in now.
I think The Help is one of the Best Pictures to have been made in a long time.
I read the book prior to seeing the film because when a movie is based on a book I like to be able to compare the two, and the movie did the book justice.
Not only did the Movie follow the book well it also had top notch performances by all who were involved in the movie and helped bring the book to life.
I would like to compliment the three main Actresses Viola Davis, Octavia Spencer and Emma Stone. Talk about grade A acting. I have never been to a movie that had me so involved with the characters and wishing that they were real because this movie makes you feel for them and the issues they are dealing with personally in their individual lives.
This Movie pulled at so many emotions. It made me laugh, It made me cry and it broke my heart.
I Have so much respect for the African American Women who were so brave in a time of much trials. There really are no words I could say that would get the message across of how amazing those women are. Their examples are Inspiring.
You would think this movie was based on a true story by how well it was written.
The writer of the Novel Kathryn Stockett grew up with an African American Maid and loved her.
She said that her life's experiences with her families maid gave her the idea for the Novel.
At the end of the Showing I was in for this film, the crowd cheered and I couldn't agree more to how much this movie deserved it.
This movie was Beautiful, very well done.

Really?
So in the last six months There has been two movies released, Friends With Benefits and No Strings Attached.
The two movies are about two friends who look to each other for sex and nothing more. Now there is a Copy Cat TV show Under the same title Friends With Benefits.
So what kind of message is Hollywood sending out? Are they really saying its cool to hook up with who ever you want just for fun and that being moral doesn't matter?
Way to Go HOLLYWOOD! That's pathetic.

Rise of the Planet of the Apes
Only one word can describe this movie, Incredible!
I have never been a fan of the old school version of Planet of the Apes, I have only seen the version starring Mark Wahlberg and even this adaptation makes the Mark Wahlberg version look like a joke.
The first thing that this movie did right was not dress up humans as apes.
The filmmakers used CGI to create the apes and I must say they were amazing looking.
Caesar is the Lead Character/Ape, in fact Caesar is the star of the film not James Franco.
In the first part of the film we are introduced to how Caesar became so intelligent, we also see how Franco's character Will raised him from a baby chimp to a full grown ape. I admire the relationship that grows between Will and Caesar.
In the time you get to know Caesar you end up caring for him and hope that he triumphs over the humans that want to harm him. But given the title we already know whats going to happen in the end.
In the second part of the film we see how Caesar comes to the realization of what he truly is. When Caesar is taken away from Will he See's how his kind is really treated by all other humans, and in part in the movie Caesar gets a look on his face that gave me goosebumps because you know exactly what he is thinking of doing.
This may sound strange but I was rooting for the Apes the whole time, and in the last half hour of the movie it is nothing but an all out war between the Apes and the Human Race.
The Action Sequences are amazing, the acting incredible! I can't Imagine how much time it took to film this movie.
I hope there is a sequel in the works. Usually I am not such a huge fan of sequels, but in this case I would be greatly disappointed if there wasn't one.

Cowboys and Aliens
The thing I love most is the fact that this movie focuses on two things that make any movie awsome. Cowboys make for an awsome flick all by themselves but add some Aliens and you have one heck of a movie!
This movie was non stop action. Daniel Craig was awsome as outlaw Jake Lonegran. In my opinion he is what made the movie top notch.
But lets dont forget the Aliens which were super freaky. Director Jon Favreau got really creative with how well this movie came together. Of course the director of Iron Man would'nt leave us dissapointed.
I have not jumped in a movie theater in a long time and this movie had some moments that made me jumping.
Some people I have talked to think that this movie looks stupid and that the idea alone is stupid.
Lets be honest a movie especially an action movie isn't supposed to be realistic.
If you just go into this movie wanting to have some gun slinging fun, then your in for a treat.

Crazy Stupid Love
Crazy Stupid Love is nothing but Crazy Stupid! I hated every minute of this movie, which makes me sad because I was looking forward to seeing it.
The trailers make this movie seem like it is going to be a fun chick flick, couldnt be more wrong.
This whole movie is nothing but a crude sex filled flick.
THANKS AGAIN HOLLYWOOD FOR RUINING ANOTHER MOVIE!
I dont really undterstand why hollywood producers/directors cant just take their heads out of their behinds for two seconds and realize that maybe just maybe there are other topics to involve in romantic comedies other than SEX!
And whats with the F word? Why in the heck does every movie have to include that in the dialouge?
There has to be something more intelligent to say other than that stupid word.
In this movie all it felt like to me was that everyone was trying to get laid.
There were non stop references to sexual intercourse, plus Child masterbation and Child pornography!
That is just wrong.
It is hard for me to believe that Dan Fogelman the man who wrote many of Disney's films including Tangled was responsible for this crap. I sure hope that in the future he actually uses his brain when writting another movie.
There were many times in this movie when they could have made it cute but they didnt.
I felt absolutley no connection with any of the characters, and the plot itself was lacking greatly.
Usually in a film there is a point where you end up connecting with the material, not personaly but emotionally. I never once in this movie felt the urge to oooh or awwww.
I found myself in the middle of this movie thinking about other tasks that I had to do this week.
You know a movie absolutley blows when you start thinking about other things including work.
Plus the 13 year old son Robbie was so unbelivebly annoying!
And lets not forget the 17 year old babysitter who has this creepy obsession with Steve Carell's Character.
Bottom Line not even worth a trip to the red box.
