Something Borrowed

Here is a movie that starts out like it might be a charming chick flick, however after the first hour you realize that it is nothing more than a soap opera on the big screen and you just witnessed a train wreck that you could have watched at home on daytime tv for free.
The Story follows two best friends, Rachel (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Darcy (Kate Hudson). They have been loyal to each other since their childhood.  When Rachel meets Dex things get a little heated between the two, only because Rachel didn't have the balls to tell Dex how she really felt about him, thus leaving him up for grabs and who do you think snatches Rachels Crush?  Of course it's Darcy, her best friend.
And I bet you have no Idea what might happen, hmmm lets think? Of course as so many romantic dramas go Darcy and Dex end up engaged and Rachel is miserable, realizing that  she has feelings for her bestfriends boy toy. However deciding to put on her game face, so as to not show how she really feels.
At this point you would think we would feel sorry for poor Rachel, but it seems hard to because the movie itself dosen't give us a reason to root for Rachel and Dex. We are only given a few annoying flash backs of Rachel and Dex. I assume that is when we are supposed to realize that the two belong to each other more than Darcy and Dex belong to each other.
After the many annoying flash backs and sighs over what could have been Dex decides he has always loved Rachel and not Darcy. So the two plan to meet up behind Darcys back to see if the feelings they have for each other are real.  My opinion that is flat out dumb! Either dump the .one Chick and chose the other or don't do anything at all. You can only imagine what happens when Darcy finds out that her so called Best Friend has been sleeping with her fiance, A bonus twist is Darcy is pregnant with her fiances best friend's baby To make a long story short the two break up as friends and Rachel and Dex get together as a couple and that is the end of it.
