A film is or should be more like music than like fiction. It should be a progression of moods and feelings. The theme, what's behind the emotion, the meaning, all that comes later. Stanley Kubrick

The Hunger Games
The Hunger Games was as good as I had hoped it would be.
I would first like to start off my review by saying, I thought it was a brilliant adaptation of the novel itself. Some people would not agree with me and ya know what I have to say to them, If you didn't like it that's your own problem. It really couldn't be better than it was.
The Hunger Games is an annual event that takes place in the future America (which has been renamed
Panem.)
Panem has a total of 12 districts and each year the Capitol (the rich and famous) hold an event, The Hunger Games.
In the Hunger Games a boy and a girl (ages 12-18) are chosen from each district and are selected to compete in a battle to the death, but don't worry it isn't all for nothing. The winner of the games is rewarded for the rest of their lives with a life time supply of food for their families.
You see the 12 districts are dirt poor areas, where food is not well in demand. You could say that each district looks just like the Hoovervilles did during the great depression. Yeah they are that sad looking.
So you can see that those who live in the 12 districts, you could say are starved and would pretty much do anything for their survival, and that is why they have The Hunger Games.
Jennifer Lawrence who Plays the main character Katniss was perfect! She truly captured the emotions of Katniss and brought her Character to life from the pages of the book. All I can say to her is Bravo!
The rest of the cast was just as good.
I would highly recommend this film, even if you haven't read the books. You will still enjoy it.

There are No Words.
I went to see A Thousand Words and I gotta be honest, there truly are no words to describe how
horrid this movie was.
Truth be told I walked out of this movie because it wasn't going anywhere.
The Characters were stupid, the plot was stupid and Eddie Murphy well lets just say
he needs to give up acting all together because he is one terrible actor.
He is loud, obnoxious and he is the same character in all of his movies.
I guess in this film he did okay only because he didn't talk for 90% of the film.
I would highly say skip this movie. Save your money. Not even worth a rent at the red box.
My Grade for this one is a solid F.
Rated PG-13 For Sexual Situations including Dialogue, Language and some Drug Related Humor.
